Rolling Wire Mesh Containers
Solving an assembly line's ergonomic challenges through updated casters and lifts
A manufacturer of automotive solutions was storing stators for its alternator assembly line in wire mesh containers. These containers required the use of a forklift or pallet jack to move and also presented an ergonomic challenge during the unloading process as line workers would have to reach farther and farther into the containers after each unload. After attempting to find a solution internally, the manufacturer reached out to Conveyer & Caster for assistance. Ultimately, the manufacturer was headed in the right direction, but needed the expertise and guidance provided by Conveyer & Caster to achieve their goal. While the solution was heavily dependent on the conditions of the plant, Conveyer & Caster was able to find a remedy to both challenges and ultimately increased productivity.
